Les Miserables star Hugh has spoken about being treated for skin cancer, after finding a mark on his nose. The actor, 45, posted a picture on Instagram with the caption,
Please don't be foolish like me. Get yourself checked,
revealing that he'd been diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma (BCC).
Heat talked to top surgeon Ms Angelica Kavouni who says,
This is the most common form of cancer and can be caused by overexposure to the sun, although a family history leaves you more at risk. Unlike some forms it doesn't spread and is unlikely to cause death.
